1. Acceptance of terms

By using ConvertKoro (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Description of service

ConvertKoro provides free, browser-based tools spanning PDF, image, developer, calculator, audio, and video utilities — including merging, compressing, converting, editing, calculating, and generating files. All file processing occurs locally in your browser; no file you convert or edit is uploaded to our servers. A small number of tools (the Currency Converter, and OCR/video tools on first use) contact a third-party service to fetch exchange rates or download a processing engine — see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that conversions, calculations, or generated files will be error-free, that the Service will be uninterrupted, or that results will meet your specific requirements. You are responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of any converted file or calculation before relying on it.

4. Calculators are not professional advice

The BMI Calculator, EMI/Loan Calculator, and other calculator tools provide general estimates for informational purposes only. They are not medical, financial, or legal advice. BMI results are not a diagnosis and don't account for individual factors like muscle mass or bone density — consult a healthcare provider for guidance. EMI results are estimates using a standard formula and may differ from what your bank actually offers — consult your bank or a licensed financial advisor before making borrowing decisions.

5. Your responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the files you process using the Service and for ensuring you have the legal right to use, convert, and store them. Don't use the Service to process content that infringes on others' rights, violates any law, or that you don't have permission to handle.

6. Intellectual property & copyright

The ConvertKoro name, logo, site design, and original code are the property of ConvertKoro and may not be copied, reproduced, or redistributed without permission. Files you process through the Service remain entirely your own property — we claim no ownership or license over any content you convert, since we never receive or store it. Third-party libraries used to power these tools (including pdf-lib, pdf.js, Tesseract.js, jsPDF, JSZip, mammoth.js, marked.js, SheetJS, heic2any, lamejs, and ffmpeg.wasm) are used under their respective open-source licenses.

ConvertKoro is built independently and has no affiliation with Adobe, Microsoft, or Google. "PDF" is a trademark of Adobe used here only to describe file compatibility, not to imply endorsement.

7. Advertising

The Service is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for details on how advertising cookies are used.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ConvertKoro and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including data loss, conversion errors, or decisions made based on calculator results.

9. Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, and may update these Terms from time to time as new tools are added. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
