1. Who we are

ConvertKoro ("we," "us," or "the Service") operates a growing set of free PDF, image, developer, calculator, audio, and video tools, currently hosted at convertkoro.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Service and how it is handled.

2. Your files are not collected

Every conversion, compression, editing, and calculation tool on ConvertKoro runs locally in your web browser using client-side code. This means:

• Your files never leave your device.
• We do not upload, receive, view, store, or retain any documents, images, audio, or video you process.
• Once you close or reload the page, any files held in browser memory are discarded.

Because of this design, we have no access to the contents of your files at any point. A small number of tools (OCR and video tools) download a language file or a processing engine from a public CDN the first time you use them; this download contains no data about you or your file, and no part of your file is sent along with it.

3. Information collected automatically

While the tools themselves do not collect your files, some standard information is collected automatically when you visit the site, primarily to display advertising, understand site usage, and operate and secure the website:

• Advertising data — through Google AdSense (see Section 5), including cookies and similar identifiers, your approximate location, device and browser information, and how you interact with ads.
• Analytics data — through Google Analytics, including pages visited, approximate location, device type, and how you navigate the site. This helps us understand which tools are useful and where to improve.
• Technical and log data — our hosting provider may automatically record information such as your IP address, browser type, and access times as part of normal server operation and security.

4. The Currency Converter tool

The Currency Converter is the one tool on ConvertKoro that contacts an external service by design: it fetches current exchange rates from a free, public exchange-rate API (open.er-api.com) each time you load the page. Only a generic rate request is sent — no amount you type, no currency you select, and no personal information is included in that request.

5. Cookies and advertising (Google AdSense)

This website uses Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google, to display ads. To do this, Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

9. Data security

Because your files are never transmitted to us, they are not exposed to interception in transit or storage on our side. The website is served over a secure HTTPS connection.

10. Children's privacy

This Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. International visitors

The Service is available globally. Automatically collected data described above may be processed in countries other than your own, per the policies of the third-party providers listed above.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, particularly as new tools are added to the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
